US President Donald Trump stated that they kept the facility where Iran’s enriched uranium is located under surveillance, and threatened that they would intervene militarily in case of any attempt to access the facility.
Answering questions about Iran in an interview with American journalist Sharyl Attkisson, Trump answered a question about why the USA has not yet been able to seize the enriched uranium in Iran’s possession: “We will get it at some point, we keep it under surveillance. You know, I established something called the Space Force and they are monitoring everything there.” he replied.
Trump said of the place where the uranium is located: “We keep it under very good surveillance. If anyone comes close to that place, we will know about it and we will blow it up.” he said
Arguing that Iran was “militarily defeated”, Trump claimed that if the USA withdraws from the region today, it will take 20 years to rebuild Iran.
Responding to a question about the Strait of Hormuz, Donald Trump said, “We do not need the Strait. We were doing this to help Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and others. We have a 1 percent share in the use of the Strait and we did it as a favor.” he said
Pointing out that many NATO countries use the Strait of Hormuz, Trump described NATO as a “paper tiger” and criticized their failure to side with the USA against Iran.
