Referring to the negotiations with Iran, Trump claimed that the USA has the capacity to seize Iran’s enriched uranium.
“We can have it right now if we want. I don’t think they can stop us. But there’s no need for that.” Trump said that the nuclear material in question was under protection and that the USA was monitoring it.
Trump also did not close the door on a possible meeting with Iran’s religious leader Mojtaba Khamenei.
“I don’t want to meet right now, but it would be an honor for me if we did.” Trump said that such a meeting would be possible if an agreement is reached with Iran. The US President made a similar statement yesterday.
Trump, who did not give details about the current status of the negotiations with Iran, reiterated that the main conditions in the negotiations were that Iran does not have nuclear weapons and the Strait of Hormuz is immediately reopened.
