In fact, Leon’s first reaction when Nele broached the subject of cloth diapers for their own child was pure skepticism. He was afraid they would prove unhygienic, incapable of holding up, and ultimately needlessly complex. However, he went from skeptic to co-founding the most recommended cloth diaper brand in the world. This transformation mirrors what thousands of their customers experience.

Who are the founders of Judes Family?
Leon came from an entrepreneurial background, Nele from corporate luxury fashion. When their son was first born, they were going through the initial trials and tribulations of early parenthood together and attempting to figure out their best paths forward across many fronts. However, diapers presented a regular issue for them both. The disposable diapers they were using were effective enough, but upon seeing a documentary that detailed what happens to them after use, with the remains unable to be fully incinerated, they became horrified.
In an effort to assuage these concerns, they tried existing cloth diapers but found them frustrating at best and inefficient at worst. So, they decided to put their combined skillsets together and built a cloth diaper of their own: one that was as easy to use as disposables, but without the plastic waste. Though the product was initially meant just for them, they soon realized the benefits it could bring to the market as a whole.

Their cloth diapers operate simply, with velcro closure, sewn-in inserts, and a 3-step system involving changing, disposing of the poo paper, and washing the cloth in a wetbag. To this end, there is no folding, no pins, and no fuss.
