Üstel pointed out that the Turkish Cypriot people have put all sincere people on the path to reach a fair, permanent and sustainable solution to the Cyprus problem, which dates back to its 60th year, and noted that the facts that have emerged in the past years show that a solution on a federal basis cannot be achieved in Cyprus.

Üstel said, “The world should now see the facts of the island and recognize the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in accordance with these facts.” he said.
